Healthy Banana Pancakes

I love pancakes but lately I’ve been cautious of what I put into my body.

Maybe bc summer is just around the corner or MAYBE it’s bc I’m twenty-three and my body is changing like never before.

Recently my grocery list has made up of nothing but fruits, veggies, and well that’s pretty much it ( I’ll sneak some mochi here and there - oh and maybe a bottle of wine.. )

I like to think I’m taking better care of myself by choosing the healthier options when I’m craving.

Usually its donuts, well it’s always donuts ( I’m obsessed w DONUTS! ) but I’m trying to control myself and apparently fruits are healthy.

Six ingredients recipe that will change your life. 

Healthy Banana Pancake Recipe + Homemade Maple Syrup

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon 
  • 1 pinch of salt

Part I

Mash bananas in bowl + Whisk eggs in.

Part II

Whisk in flour. Then vanilla, cinnamon, pinch of salt. 

Part III

slab some butter on the stove (medium heat) and shape your cakes :) 

Homemade Maple Syrup

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp maple or vanilla extract

Part I

Bring sugars + water to boil 

Part II

Reduce heat to simmer + stir in extract. Let cool & serve!

Make it healthier & top with some more fruit 😉
